The long awaited new beta of the colour management system Oyranos is out.Version 0.1.10 is after more than one year development a major feature
release.
Changes Overview:
- new modular device configuration
- add CUPS device module
- integrate colour management plug-in for compiz (net-color DRAFT2)
- generate ICC profile from EDID
- new Qt UI for observing Xorg colour management events
- new oForms implementation (subset of XForms)
- completely free licensed ICC profile set
- build on 64-bit osX
- new automatic colour management policy module
- new multi monitor PPM image viewer demo
- more work on CMM framework
- instable headers moved to $prefix/oyranos/alpha/
About:
Oyranos is a colour management system allowing to share various settings
across applications and services. The provided interfaces are the C library,
native graphical front ends and partitial access through command line tools.
Oyranos is based on the Elektra configuration system for bsd/linux.
Known Applications using Oyranos:
ICC Examin, the KDE kolor manager configuration dialog and the included
compiz plugin.
